As President and CEO of Kryton International Inc., a Vancouver-based international manufacturing company, Kari Yuers, FACI, is recognized for her ability to build organizations and affect change. Under Kari’s leadership, Kryton has flourished from a family-run business to a company with offices and distribution in over 40 countries. Benefiting from over 25 years of experience in the global construction industry, Kari was instrumental in defining the new category of integral crystalline concrete waterproofing.
Kari is the winner of the Ernst and Young Entrepreneur of the Year Award (2003), Awards of Merit and Professional Achievement from the American Concrete Institute (2005) and Construction Specifications Canada (2002 and 2004), an Influential Woman in Business Award (2012) and for 4 consecutive years, Kryton was named one of the Best Companies to Work For. In 2010 she was appointed a Fellow of the American Concrete Institute (FACI), and serves as Chair of ACI’s International Advisory Committee. Through this position, Kari helps to implement strategies which continue to foster relationships with the global concrete community.
