Shelly has several years experience in working with a wide variety of Small to Medium Enterprises predominantly in the Aboriginal Entrepreneur marketplace. Shelly was born and raised in the Northwest Territories and understands the harsh working conditions faced by o
ur customers. Like many successful entrepreneurs, Shelly was raised in a household where her parents ran several small businesses. Shelly spent the better part of her career working in many capacities with First Nation communities and the citizens from those communities struggling to launch and grow their businesses in today’s economy.

As a social advocate, Shelly has been actively involved with many not-for-profit organizations. Shelly’s latest community involvement assignments include her appointment as the Alberta representative for the National Aboriginal Capital Corporation Association (NAACA) and she is the Chairperson for the Apeetogosan Métis Development Inc (AMDI). Shelly is also a co-creator of Aspiring Women in Leadership and Legacy (AWILL) and she is the recipient of the 2015 Aboriginal Women Entrepreneur Award of Distinction from the Alberta Chamber of Commerce.
